You will lead the platform track of our most ambitious client engagements — the ones where a decision in week one constrains the next three years. You will work alongside arkavix founders and senior client engineers, and you will ship reference architectures that become the client's house style.
what you'll do
- chevron_right lead platform architecture for two to three concurrent engagements
- chevron_right design landing zones, service meshes, and data platforms that survive growth
- chevron_right write reference implementations your engineers and client engineers both extend
- chevron_right own FinOps outcomes; ship with a cost model and defend it
- chevron_right mentor senior engineers inside arkavix and inside the client
- chevron_right contribute to our internal playbooks — the work leaves the engagement
what we're looking for
- chevron_right 10+ years in platform or distributed systems engineering
- chevron_right shipped multi-region, multi-account architectures at meaningful scale
- chevron_right fluent in at least one hyperscaler and unafraid of the others
- chevron_right can defend a design against an engineering leadership audience
- chevron_right write well; the architecture memo is half the work
- chevron_right want to work inside client teams, not around them
